Documentarian Morgan Spurlock, best known for his Academy Award-nominated documentary "Super Size Me" died on Thursday at the age of 53 from cancer.
His 2004 “Super Size Me” sparked a national conversation and controversy over America’s relationship with fast food. And he also made a documentary about searching for Osama bin Laden.
Although Spurlock never enjoyed the same success after Laden, the filmmaker continues to made documentaries including One Direction: This Is Us (2013) and a sequel to Super Size Me in 2017.
