TRAILER WATCH - 'MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT'

Tom Cruise's broken angle made the news last August, and it is clear from this action-packed trailer that the 55-year-old action star shows no signs of slowing down. 

Besides Cruise, there are also the familiar faces of the IMF played by Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames. Then there is Rebecca Ferguson’s Ilsa who seems to be at odds with Hunt (again). And let’s not forget the return of the villainous Lane (Sean Harris) — but this time he has a lot more beard and a lot less rasp. But the most surprising cameo is that of Michelle Monaghan, who played Hunt’s wife who was last seen in Ghost Protocol. 

“The end you always feared is coming, and the blood will be on your hands. The fallout of all your good intentions,” Sean Harris says to open the trailer. Hunt’s mission — should he choose to accept it, of course (and we know he will) — is to fix things after a previous mission gone wrong. That lands him dangling from a helicopter, running his car into Ferguson’s character as she shoots at him, and clinging to the side of (and falling from) a cliff, among other death-defying action.
