Sir Richard Attenborough best known to the world for his role as John Hammond in "Jurassic Park" has died at the age of 90.
Spending more than 50 years as a stage and screen actor, he turned to directing and won eight Oscars for Gandhi, including best film and best director. Another memorable project he did was the 1992 biopic "Chaplin" starring Robert Downey Jr.
In his later years after his appearance in the Steven Spielberg's thriller, he helmed "In Love and War," starring Chris O’Donnell and Sandra Bullock in 1996 and after an absence of eight years, Attenborough directed the sentimental tale Closing the Ring (2007), starring Christopher Plummer and Shirley MacLaine.
Rest In Peace, one of the last great Brit actors, Sir Richard Attenborough.
