Hong Kong Film Awards Winning Director Derek Yee, creates magic with Tony Leung, Lau Ching Wan and Zhou Xun

Co produced by Emperor Entertainment Group and Bona Film Group, directed by Derek Yee, starring the award winning team of Tong Leung, Sean Lau Ching Wan, and Zhou Xun is expected to create magic in January next year. In the recent character poster launch which includes that of Lau Ching Wan, Zhou Xun, Yan Ni, Wu Gang and Qin Pei, is missing Tony Leung, creating much anticipation towards the poster launch. These 5 posters carries the glam factor following the previous batch. The posters are associated with various exotic and majestic animals, hinting the character’s personality and destiny.

Zhou Xun impresses Lau Ching Wan

Amongst the 5 character posters launched, Lau’s poster is most impressionable with overwhelming charisma. Lau has achieved good results this year having claimed box office success and being nominated as Best Male Lead at the Venice Film Awards. Partnering with the Tony will certainly create much sparks. Though Lau stars as an army commander in the movie, he has a soft spot for his wife Zhou Xun. Zhou Xun is a good representation of the traditional beauty. Centered between 2 men, she is essential to the balance of the story. Though the multiple award wimming actress has been through lots, it is without doubt that the relationships, and action scenes in the movie has proved to be challenging to Zhou Xun.

Lion King Qin Pei roars and stuns all Veteran Qin Pei’s image in the movie proves to be very outstanding. Starring as Zhou Xun’s father in the film, he is depicted as being captured and punished. His roar during that scene took the crew by surprise. With his wonderful acting skills, everyone is respectful of the energetic Qin Pei.
