MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN (1957 - 2012)

Known for his Oscar nominated performance in "The Green Mile", hulking actor Michael Clarke Duncan has died at the age of 54. Duncan died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack, said his fiancée, reality TV personality Rev. Omarosa Manigault, in a statement released by publicist Joy Fehily.

A former bodyguard, Duncan switched to an acting career in his 30's and has a prolific career ever since. His onscreen credits include "Armageddon", as Kingpin in "Daredevil", The Island, Sin City, direct-to-video Cross and also lend his voices to movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore and last year summer blockbuster Green Lantern as the voice of Kilowog.

We shall miss his huge presence and gravelly baritone.
