Jackie Chan's 100th movie: 1911

His apparent desire to shed off his action star facade has propel Jackie Chan into taking on more dramatic roles in recent years which explains why we don't get another Police Story instalment called SuperCop: Rush Hour in the Bronx. In his 100th movie outing, Chan stars in "1911", a story of the founding of the Republic of China when Sun Yat-sen's forces overthrew the Ming Dynasty. Li Bingbing, Zhao Wenxuan and Joan Chen co-stars. Little is known except that it is scheduled for a simultaneously screening in China and the US on the 10 October 2011, the 100th anniversary of the uprising. Check out the teaser here.
