IRON MAN 3 shatters all opening weekend box office records in Singapore

MARVEL’S IRON MAN 3 made a huge mark in Singapore’s box office history over the weekend as it posted the biggest opening weekend in history! Over the last weekend, the movie took in a whopping S$4.6M in only 3 days (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The Friday opening day results of S$1.7M also sets a new industry record for the highest one-day box office of all time.

Opening at #1 on 99 prints, the movie was shown on a record breaking 180 screens, representing 92% of the total available screens in the market and marking the widest ever release in Singapore history. 

Now the only question is... How high can it go by the end of its run?
