Emperor Motion Pictures and Clover Films close 4-movie deal for Singapore

Emperor Motion Pictures and Clover Films are pleased to announce a four-picture deal for Singapore.

The films include Dante Lam's The Viral Factor, Derek Yee's The Great Magician, Lu Chuan's The Last Supper and Heiward Mak's Diva. The deal has Clover Films handle the theatrical, video and free-to-air TV distribution rights for the four titles in Singapore.

"We are very proud to be able to work with Emperor Motion Pictures on this exciting lineup. These films feature some of Asia's brightest stars including Jay Chou, Nicholas Tse, Tony Leung, Zhou Xun, Daniel Wu, Chang Chen, Liu Ye and Joey Yung, and we are very confident of delivering great results in Singapore. We thank Mr Albert Lee, Ms May Yip and her team for their trust in our young company and we will strive to justify their faith in us." says Lim Teck, Managing Director of Clover Films. "We at Emperor believe we have a very strong line-up to replicate the success we had this year with Shaolin. We have long known Lim Teck and believe that he and his team will deliver." says Albert Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Emperor Motion Pictures.

The Great Magician, starring Asian superstar Tony Leung, Zhou Xun and Lau Ching-wan is slated for release in late 2011, and the remaining films in 2012.
