Blasting
off on 28-29 June 2008, the first-ever Singapore Toy
& Comic Convention will feature a host of toys (general
and designer), comics, animation, gaming, design, licensing
and Cosplay from creative minds from all over the world,
serving up an eye-popping visual feast and unprecedented
variety and innovation in all the closely-related industries.
Exciting
free giveaways include tickets to the Asian premiere
screening of the highly-anticipated Batman: Gotham Knight
animation film, Hasbro Star Wars quiz show where you
can walk off with a life-sized Clone Trooper helmet
or Star Wars Mighty Muggs to meeting international artists,
namely: Pete Fowler (UK), Tokidoki (IT), DEVILROBOTS
(JPN) and Gary Erskine (UK). Further more, the exclusive
two-tone, red and white Singapore Toy & Comic Convention
MEDICOM TOY BE@RBRICK which is available in two versions,
will be given out upon admission to the first 1000 visitors
who enter the Convention at 11:00am on 28 and 29 June
2008.
Finalised
list of exhibitors include BANDAI, Hasbro, Lego, Wizards
of the Coast, MEDICOM TOY, Chuang Yi, Nintendo, Simply
Toys and many more for a glimpse of some of your favourite
names from the worlds of toys, comics, animation, gaming
and design. You
want more? MPH Distributors have various selections
of DC Comics, graphic novels, comics and mangas and
Del Ray Mangas to satisfy your cravings. There will
also be costumed appearances from some of today’s
most popular characters from movies and comics live.
Your favourite tokusatsu superhero, Masked Rider Hibiki
will also make appearances. Don't forget to bring along
your cameras to make the most of the exclusive photo
opportunities with your favourite Kamen Rider!
